How does your spouse react to your hobby/obsession?

Man this thread is hilarious. Did not one single woman weigh in, or was I reading too fast? My husband likes Dylan mostly, and asks me to turn down my music down most of the time, but I've got him to come around to Trane and Duke and some more inside others. He did on the other hand make me throw out my CD crystal boxes and store my CDs in notebooks (which certainly isn't the end of the world) whereas we've got his 2000 films taking up a goodly amount of RE in our lil apt. Course I don't mind that at all in fact cause they're great films, every single one.

well, as I mentioned elsewhere, I'm getting rid of everything - and my wife is thrilled. Hopefully it'll all be at the New England Conservatory of Music in a few years.

oh! and i forgot to mention that though it does bug him when im out listening to jazz with a bunch of guys (mostly, duh) til 4am, as long as i call by 2 and am home before 3 he's perty cool about it.

they're building a new library, so the timing was good - and unlike a few other institutions I've talked to, they love LPs -

which are being regularly rejected these days. Not a good thing.
