JSngry Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Seems like the whole Argo catalog (or a big bunch of it) got a reissuing w/B&W covers somewhere in the 70s. Some of 'em even had no back notes, just a repeat of the front cover. But I think they were legit, if shoddy. Quote
mandrill Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 (edited) Alas, couldn't find the image of a decent size to properly reflect Julius grandstanding. But somehow, posting this cover immediately brought to mind another one, so here comes. Edited December 19, 2006 by Mandrill Quote

Sundog Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 (edited) Unsettling, yes but I've always thought this was a great cover... Edited December 21, 2006 by Sundog Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Unsettling, yes but I've always thought this was a great cover... I always felt this cover fit the times but not the record. Maybe you had to be there. Quote
Sundog Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 I've had that very same thought a number of times, but purely in retrospect... Quote

robertoart Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 Okay, I'm a dirty old man, but this was a favorite when I bought it the year it came out. . . so I was a dirty young man. lon - pardon my ignorance - which album is this? It's the second album by the band "Free". . .selftitled (but not on the front). I have a pet name for this record, but I'll not post it. Rosebud? Quote
