I went and looked at the Best Buy website, and they have a 30 day price guarantee: Service/Order Type Price Guarantee Policy In-Store Pickup If you purchase an item online or at a store kiosk using in-store pickup, and if the item is offered at a lower price online and/or in the store when you pick it up, you will automatically pay the lower price. Pre-Orders and Backorders If the price of an item drops at the time of shipment, you will automatically pay the lower price. Delivered items If the price of a delivered item drops at any time before your scheduled delivery date, we will refund 100% of the difference. To receive the lower price, you must call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289). So I called and asked for the $30 rebate and they gave it to me. So if you have pre-ordered, go ahead and call the 888 number and you should also get the difference. I know Best Buy is generally evil, but they did ok by me today. Her supervisor sure sang a different tune when I asked to speak with him. I know it goes w/o saying, but these people are beyond shady. I feel a little dirty.
