sidewinder Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Yep, I've got my (distant) eye on the Columboa Jazz Piano set too. The Master Jazz Piano set is real nice - a whole bundle of solo recitals by the likes of Cliff Smalls, Ram Ramirez, Earl Hines and Sir Charles Thompson which bring back a whole by-gone era. I guess at the time these recitals were done - late 60s to early 70s - the curtain was already starting to close. Quote
michel1969 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Okay its not a Mosaic... but my favourite depressive album is "Angel Song" on ECM, with Lee Konitz, Wheeler, and Frisell and another one... Quote
porcy62 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 The most depressing Mosaic is the one that you really wanted and now is out of print. Quote
tranemonk Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Well in that case... Paul Desmond & Jim Hall.... The most depressing Mosaic is the one that you really wanted and now is out of print. Quote

Ron S Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 Well in that case... Paul Desmond & Jim Hall.... The most depressing Mosaic is the one that you really wanted and now is out of print. I told you months ago how you can easily put together virtually the entire contents of that box with currently in-print CDs. Refresh your memory here, and quit your complainin' already! Quote
