Ken Dryden Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 (edited) I pretty much had most of this music and bought it anyway. Great music! No label is as thorough as Mosaic and I hate cube sets, long boxes or the infernal cardboard sleeves on a spine where the disc drop in without protection. Long live the big box! sidewinder Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 (edited) And to accompany the set, don't forget to pick up the OJC 'Limited Editions' of 'Groovin' With Golson', 'Gone With Golson' and 'Gettin' With It'. Originally on New Jazz and two of these by a Jazz-tetish quintet with Curtis Fuller, one ('Gettin') a quartet with Tommy Flanagan. Well organised sessions with an informal feel and grade-A Golson solos. Edited June 10, 2007 by sidewinder Quote

Jazz Kat Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 If I had the money, I'd buy this set right away! Quote

Don't forget about these, they're wonderful. Got them all in my Curtis Fuller section. They are, indeed, wonderful. Quote
