Hardbopjazz
My 7 year old daughter wants to learn to play the organ. Someone is selling this one for $60. Would this be good enough to learn on?
Jim Alfredson
That looks like a later model Hammond. No tonewheels. It won't sound like a B3, if that's what you're looking for. But if she just wants to learn how to play, that will work fine. I learned how to play on a Yamaha organ, so it's all good!
Hardbopjazz
Thanks for the reply Jim. So any type of organ will do to start? That's good to know. Edited October 9, 2006 by Hardbopjazz

Dan Gould
Thanks for the reply Jim. So any type of organ will do to start? That's good to know. Well, it really depends on what she wants to learn. Yeah. What are her goals? Does she plan to lead the first generation of Organissimo tribute bands? Or does she want to replace Dr. Smith in LD's band?

She want to learn the organ and piano, no idea what the long term goals will be.
