Ben seems to be crying after Teddy Wilson's solo. One of the comments on Youtube claims that he had just been told of the death of Johnny Hodges-- though the beauty of Wilson's solo is enough to bring tears to the eye.

Thanks for posting that. I hadn't seen it before- very heavy.

I finally got around to watching this DVD, which I have only owned since the review copy arrived in 2006. It was just as delightful as I imagined. I was fortunate to see Gary Burton and Makoto Ozone on three different occasions together: a 1984 concert with Steve Swallow and Adam Nussbaum, Eddie Daniels' Benny Rides Again tour (with Makoto in place of Mulgrew Miller), along with the IAJE 2002 preview duo concert of their forthcoming Virtuosi CD.
