GregN
The gig was fun and there were a few people there besides our board members who were obviously organ group devotees. .. Nice people running the club too. Joseph, the guy with the dreds who set up the mic was very helpful at the end of the night assisting me in the repair of my hihat stand which required a hex key which he happened to have in his truck. A guy in dreds had a "hex" key... what else he have in that truck mon? Warms my heart to see you having a good time brother. g

RDK
I plan to be at the reptet gig on Tuesday, if only to witness the meeting of weizy and Johnny E.!!! Heck, I'd pay good money to see that. Weizy and Johnny could sell tickets and hit the college debate circuit... you know, kinda like a Noam Chomsky-Darth Vader billing. Stefan Wood
I promise I'll be at the Baltimore gig! Driving through the rainstorm to Baltimore, I was cursing that I couldn't be there. However, I had a good time at an art gallery opening and made some friends, especially the ladies!

mr jazz
BTW everyone, The board needs some bucks. Jim told me that he's still running a deficit every month for operations costs so this "heckler" just made a small donation and I encourage everyone to do the same!!! Jim Alfredson
Thanks, mrjazz for the donation and for coming to the gig. And we enjoy "active" audiences! Much more fun than stoic ones! Hopefully we'll be back in DC in January.
mr jazz
BUMP! If just a few folks will paypal Jim $10 every month, he could at least break even with board expenses. I don't think $10 is a lot to ask. Jim doesn't like to ask for donations so I will. Don't you enjoy this forum?? Think about it!!!
