I ordered "Metheny/Mehldau" and the new Branford quartet record "Braggtown" from them, will they come through? the free shipping seemed a plus for me as well as the price.

I've had mixed experience with them. Sometimes they delivered stuff promptly, but occasionally they have trouble getting out-of-stock stuff. One time they kept telling me they would have an item within 10 days, and repeated the mantra after the 10 days expired. Nice prices, though...

With new releases I think my record is 3 out 5 shipped in the past year. I ordered 2 RVGs from the last batch. One shipped in a couple of days of ordering, the other took an extra week.

When ordering things that aren't new releases their record is much more spotty. Sometimes within a month they'll fess up and say they can't get it, another time the order was open for 3 months before I finally shot an email asking them to cancel it. To their credit they replied to that promptly. A couple of times I've let them go at it for 10 weeks and they did come through, so if you're patient...

I'm back to using them as alldirect.com is no more. Seems to be the way to go when I don't want to order enough discs to justify using CD Universe.

well, Metheny/Mehldau is "in stock" while Braggtown "usually ships within 10 days" so I hope that'll come.

I think I've only ever ordered items that they had in stock with the exception of once. They've come through every time on the in stock items. I had to cancel the other item because they were not able to get it.

Sometimes they have very good prices and I've had very good luck with them. When I'm in the market for something, I'll always check them out.

well they had difficulty getting both discs so I just cancelled and picked them up at a brick and mortar tonight.
