Chalupa Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Iggles DESTROYED the Panthers today in Carolina. McNabb breaks a rib and is out 2-4 weeks. Don't know who to be madder at: 1: the Carolina player that made the late hit while DMac lay on the ground after scoring a TD, 2. the refs that didn't call a penalty. Out 2-4 weeks while Vick is still ineligible to play for another game. I guess Kolb will have to carry the team for at least one game. Has he looked ok yet? In a word, "No." Good game from Romo today. I guess getting rid of TO and JS was what he needed. Quote
Free For All Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Watching Bears/Packers. So far a battle of the inept. I hope someone gets ept soon. Quote

Free For All Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 If only the QBs were 99% accurate......... Quote
sjarrell Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Redskins is in for a long, long year. Once again, the offense can't do anything. Campbell looks terrible, and the defense ain't stopping anyone. Sucks to be a DC fan. If Campbell had protection he might produce. But yeah, hasn't been easy for a long while now, has it? Snyder. Tim McG Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Niners looked pretty darn good today....20-16 over the defendfing NFC Champ AZ Cards. And the added plus is they ditched those butt ugly uniforms for that classic Niners look. Go Niners!!! Quote
Aggie87 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 If only the QBs were 99% accurate......... 3-2 is a baseball score, not a football score! Quote
papsrus Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Nice debut by Mark Sanchez today. I expected more out of the Texans, but Sanchez seems to be the real deal...so far. Pete Carroll called to say that now that he's got another QB, Sanchez is ready for the NFL. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Crap Adrian Peterson was a problem for us today! Quote
Free For All Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) Well, that last interception wasn't totally Cutler's fault, but he looked awful tonight (other than that one drive in the 2nd half). I'm more a Bears than GB fan, but I'm glad the home team crowd at Lambeau got to enjoy an exciting win. Though after seeing tonight's game I'm thinking Vikings this year in that division, depending on Favre's health and performance. Adrian Peterson is a bad MF. Soulstation1 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 It could be a long season for the Browns Quote
Soulstation1 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Brian Urlacher is done for the season Quote
Noj Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Chargers have beaten the Raiders in 10 straight regular season meetings, and covered the spread 9 of those 10. I don't expect anything different tonight. I expect the Pats to thoroughly outclass the Bills. Quote
WorldB3 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Crap Adrian Peterson was a problem for us today! Adrian Peterson is going to be a problem for everybody this year. Screw Favre and his pho Lambough leap yesterday, the WR was like get off me old man I can smell your denture glue. What was up with the fake punt/ run with Bears last night deep in their own territory? Cutler looked like crap. Go Niners! Quote
Aggie87 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) I expect the Pats to thoroughly outclass the Bills. You're forgetting that Buffalo now has Terrell Owens! Edited September 14, 2009 by Aggie87 Quote
Noj Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 What was up with the fake punt/ run with Bears last night deep in their own territory? Cutler looked like crap. Good grief, was that stupid. My immediate comment after the review was, "that's going to cost them the game." And it did. Quote
Shawn Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Rather interesting day of football yesterday, wish I had the Sunday ticket thing so I could see more games. I was watching the highlights last night and a couple of the scores kind of made me blink. N.O: 45 - Lions: 27 (what surprised me there was that the Lions scored 27 points) Seahawks: 28 - Rams: 0 I have a feeling it's going to be a LONG year for the Rams.... Quote
Free For All Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 (edited) Go Buffalo! Up at the half! Brady having a rough night! (sorry, conn.......) Update: Buffalo 24, NE 13 with about 5 minutes left. Could it be? I'm waiting for the inevitable NE miracle, but......... Update #2: 24-19....and so the comeback begins. I knew it! Bills fumbled the kickoff return. HUGE mistake! You know if NE scores they'll go for two. Update #3: 25-24.....here we go.......damn, those Pats always seem to pull off the miracle! Edited September 15, 2009 by Free For All Quote
Aggie87 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 McKelvin may have lost this game for the Bills. They outplayed the Pats on their home turf. Quote
Free For All Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 And so it goes. The Bills blew it big time. WTF was McKelvin thinking? Conn retains bragging rights. Quote
Chalupa Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 If McKelvin takes a knee game over. Pretty impressive game by the Bills any way. Brady looked really sharp on those last two drives. Quote
GA Russell Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 ...That run he had with the Eagles a few years ago was one for the books! Jeff Garcia is back with the Eagles! I suppose it's too much to hope that he can be even half as magical again. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/foot...article1287474/ Quote

I suppose it's too much to hope that he can be even half as magical again. I think that may be too much to hope for. I'm guessing he's the backup to Kolb this week, and then either McNabb comes back or Vick takes over until McNabb's healthy. Garcia may not even play. Quote
