Big Al Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 And maybe they won't throw the game this time. I don't get it. As in the last time the Iggles were in the SB. Lord, when was that???? Quote
Scott Dolan Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 That day when McNabb decided he was just a sleepy little guy. Poor thing. And to have something like that happen on Superbowl Sunday. Tarnation! Quote
Shawn Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Personally...I'm wishing for a Chargers/Saints Super Bowl. That would be a FANTASTIC game. Brees vs. his former team. I hope the Ravens don't make it...they are BORING!!! Quote
Scott Dolan Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Boring? Wow, I couldn't disagree more. Then again, I'm big on defense. Comes from growing up watching the Marino-led Dolphins wishing upon a star for even a mediocre D to come along. Quote
LennyH Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 And maybe they won't throw the game this time. Good grief. Here we go again. You might be right about the the Aints going to the SB, but they have to get past the Iggles first. The Eagles did not play as well this week as they have been. The pass offense should be better next week. Should be one helluva football game. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 If the Iggles play this week the way they did last week, the Saints will crush them. It won't even be close. Oh, and you know I'm right about said SB. Quote
chris olivarez Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 I've got this Christmas ep that has this song "All I Want For Christmas Is For The Saints To Win" and on the liner notes they had "Geaux Saints". I couldn't resist copping it!!!!! Quote
sal Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 So what say you all? Any predictions for this weekend? I'm very excited for the Colts/Baltimore game, as well as the Eagles/Saints. And of course, the Bears. Should be an exciting weekend. I love this time of year! Quote
sheldonm Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Scored 6 tickets for this weekends Bears/Seahawks game (30 yard line)....taking a co-working and some clients...one is a hugh Seahawks fan.....should be nice and chilly during the game with the weather calling for low 30s and freezing rain/snow.....hoping for snow! Would ultimately like to see Colts/Bears but who knows......anyone's guess at this point! m~ Quote

ejp626 Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 So the Bears sneaked in there at the end. I didn't watch the game, just checked the box score while doing some other things. So what was the problem? It seems like the offense was ok, not spectacular, but no enormous screw ups by Rex, which is good. Has the defense just fallen apart? That's been my read over the past five or six weeks. This is just not the same defense that started the season. But I suppose anything can happen in the game against the Saints. Quote

That's been my read over the past five or six weeks. This is just not the same defense that started the season. But I suppose anything can happen in the game against the Saints. Too many missed tackles. A lot of two yard runs turning into 10 yard runs. Also, no real pass rush. Quote
sal Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Yeah, Shaun Alexander tore the Bears up. And there were some critical dropped passes by the Bears receivers. But the Bears D came up with some monster plays when it came down to it, and Rex had a very decent game. Quote
Noj Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 I thought the "defensive player moving as to cause a false start" call against the Seahags on the field goal attempt (which missed) was obvious home cookin' for the Bears. Sure, the defensive player moved--but not into the neutral zone and it didn't cause any of the Bears to flinch that I could see in the replay. Pure crapola. Quote
JSngry Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Man, I hate the Patriots. So do I, but they're one helluva team. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Report Posted January 15, 2007 San Diego has all the pro bowlers and all the stars and commercials. But WE are advancing! NE wins another gritty playoff game. Now NE @ Indy. Ali v.s. Frazier IV. (We're Ali) Quote
Noj Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 The 4th and 5 interception that turned into a fumble recovery, 1st and 10 for the Pats was nothing short of miraculous. I just about threw my television out the window. Quote
JSngry Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Who is "we", Mr. Probably Never Been To New England In His Life? Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Report Posted January 15, 2007 Who is "we", Mr. Probably Never Been To New England In His Life? "We," and "us" refer to all who have followed our team for many years. "You" refers to Dallas Cowboy fans. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Report Posted January 15, 2007 The Belichick/Brady dynasty has more mileage left.... Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Report Posted January 15, 2007 Man, I'm so happy! We had to do everything we could to win this game. SD is much more talented than us. It was at their home. Now for the big nemesis. I'll make my pick by weekend. Quote
