Van Basten II Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Big win for my Steelers, despite an awful first half, it's one thing to be agressive but we gotta stop take those dumb penalities Quote
Free For All Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) Helluva game going on it Pittsburgh right now... Exciting finish! Ravens really folded in the second half (including some critical penalties). I feel sorry for the guy (I won't even try to spell his name) that dropped the 4th down pass at the end- that would have made things interesting. Edited January 16, 2011 by Free For All Quote
JSngry Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 ?Goog game going on in Atlanta now. Shaping up to be a day for great playoff games. Quote

JSngry Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Green Bay is starting to look like a Super Bowl team to me. Quote
Free For All Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Green Bay is starting to look like a Super Bowl team to me. Atlanta's on the receiving end of a old fashioned beatdown. I didn't expect that! Pack is definitely looking like a serious contender. Quote
BruceW Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I didn't see that beat down coming either. Thought the Falcons were going to title game for sure. :blush2: Quote

Matchups do matter, as Atlanta can tell us. Ouch. Quote
jlhoots Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Rogers looked great for Green Bay today. Go Packers! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I'm...uh...er...so when's next season start? Quote

But the Bears need to take care of Seattle first, and for some reason I have a bad feeling about this game. Quote
Shawn Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Here's an interesting thought. If the Seahawks beat the Bears today, then the NFC championship game would be held at Qwest Field in Seattle. Quote
JSngry Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 That was without a doubt the most.....bizarre presentation of the National Anthem I have ever seen. Who was that guy? Quote
Free For All Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) That was without a doubt the most.....bizarre presentation of the National Anthem I have ever seen. Who was that guy? Jim Cornelison, he usually does the anthem for Blackhawks games. Scary injury to John Carlson. Hope he's OK. Edited January 16, 2011 by Free For All Quote

Shaping up to be Bears/Packers, old school vs old school, oh yeah, bring it ON! Quote
Van Basten II Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Bears vs Packers, they are classics and THEY are classics, great NFC Final. Quote
Free For All Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) ....for some reason I have a bad feeling about this game. Not so much now. Packers at Soldier Field next weekend! Should be a good 'un! EDITED to add: weak finish by Bears- they won't get away with that next weekend! Edited January 16, 2011 by Free For All Quote
mattes Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Packers/Bears! Halas, Lambeau, Lombardi. 21 Championships between the two clubs. Quote

Tim McG Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Bears vs Packers, they are classics and THEY are classics, great NFC Final. I agree. If both teams show up, it should be an exciting game to watch Jets up 14-3 at the half? Holy crap! I wonder if they can sustain this for another half. I hope so. My Steelers can beat the Jets. The Patriots would be tougher! gregmo My Connecticut born wife is cheering on the Pats As her long suffering Niners fan and dutiful husband, I must hope for a Pats Vs Bears/Packers Super Bowl. At least one of our teams is doing well this year. Go Pats! Quote
