Free For All Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Our friend Conn500 asked me to post this on his behalf. He's been battling kidney stones lately and over the weekend started feeling pretty punk, sporting a fairly high fever. He checked in to the hospital and is being treated for a nasty bladder infection caused by blockage from a fairly large stone. Once the infection is under control they will then deal with the stone, which apparently is too big to pass the usual way. Conn said the doctors told him if he had waited much longer he might have been in pretty serious trouble. Conn is a stubborn cuss sometimes! He will be in the hospital for a couple more days and wanted me to mention this on the board because he had a couple CD deals pending and will be unable to do much in the short term. He will take care of business when he returns home. Best wishes to Conn for a speedy recovery! Quote

Dan Gould Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Get well soon, Paul. As I've aged I've wondered if I would end up dealing with kidney stones ... sounds like this may be an easier way to go, if its too big to come out "the usual way". That is a pain I don't even like to imagine. Quote
