doubleM
The Jazz had that game. Boozer and Williams didn't play well in the 4th. Of course, Walker tore it up. Tough loss for us Jazz fans.

Big Al
Mark my words: this will be the year that Steve Nash makes Mark Cuban regret ever getting rid of him. As good as the Mavs are, Steve Nash (and Stoudemire, too) is THE reason the Mavs will go down in history as being like the '98 (?) Mariners, when they won 114 games and lost in the first round. Soulstation1
IMO is shaq the only baller that makes his free throws when they count? helluva ball game last night thought the game was over w/ 2 minutes left, drove home from the other side of town and it was in double OT when i got home the mavs still can't finish teams off Edited March 15, 2007 by Soulstation1
Noj
The Mavs missed five free throws in the 4th quarter, that's what cost them the game. Instant Classic Sports game, that's for sure.
Guy Berger
That was a great game. I wouldn't get too carried away overanalyzing one game -- I'm sure that if the Mavs & Suns meet in the conference finals, we'll have at least two or three of these crazy games. Big Al
the mavs still can't finish teams off A lotta scary fourth quarters this season would almost bear that out.
Guy Berger
The Lakers are getting their clocks cleaned by Denver. Is Marcus Camby the oldest-looking player in the NBA? Guy Edited March 16, 2007 by Guy
Soulstation1
Phil's been fined $50k and the lakers $50k for phil's comments about a witch hunt by the league on kobe

Tjazz
IMMFO shaq's making his MVP push...... For playing half the season? Shaq is playing well. He should sit out the first half of every season.
Soulstation1
pistons locked down the suns the other night you gotta be physical with the suns, you can't let them run up and down the court i guess kobe got tired of being a team player and busts out with 65 points pistons vs mavs today go mavs!!!! md655321
Mavs win employing the 'neat the hell out of poor little Rip Hamilton' strategy. Stons still played well though, especially without Billups. Darko with a double double against big daddy too.
Guy Berger
Mavs win employing the 'neat the hell out of poor little Rip Hamilton' strategy. Stons still played well though, especially without Billups. I watched this game at the Excalibur (Vegas) today. It was so hard to find a tv playing it -- all these stupid college games. The west's top 4 have looked pretty shaky over the past week or so. Whether getting blown out two games in a row (Phoenix), losing two games in a row (Dallas, San Antonio), losing FOUR games in a row (Utah road trip), or losing home games to crappy teams (San Antonio). On the other hand, Houston won by 50 pts today. Warriors still holding onto playoff spot #8. The schedule gets a little tougher at this point, though. Jim Alfredson
Couldn't watch the game due to rehearsal, but I'm not surprised the Pistons lost without Billups. However, I am surprised it was as close as it was. Rip missing five free throws in a row?! That's unbelievable.

Noj
I've seen that one, Guy. That kid's "friends" are jerks. Kobe follows up 65 with 50 in must-win games, joining Elgin Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain as the only Lakers to go for 50+ in back-to-back games. He is tied for third all time for players to have 60+ point games, only 1 behind Jordan and 29 behind the Stilt.

Guy Berger
For all the talk about Gilbert Arenas being an MVP candidate earlier in the season, the Wizards are just an "OK" team. Truly great players make their teams great. Sorry Gilbert... Guy
