Jim R
...and finished with 36 ( ), but it wasn't enough tonight. It wasn't televised, but I enjoyed following it on ESPN's online play-by-play/game tracker or whatever they call it. 279 points in this one. Unfortunately for the W's, Memphis finished strong and overcame a strong G.S. run in the 4th en route to scoring 144.

Soulstation1
i'm telling ya, keep an eye on gilbert..... anyone see LBJ's 3/4 court shot?
Patrick
Gilbert should definitely be on the short list for MVP given his season so far. Missed the LeBron shot, but look, the Cavs won a road game on the second night of back-to-back games! And Ilgauskus has 27! Sure it was against Boston minus Pierce, but you gotta start somewhere. Guy Berger
Gilbert should definitely be on the short list for MVP given his season so far. I disagree. If the Wizards sustain their current winning pace, he has an outside shot. Guy
Guy Berger
I'm a fan of Steve Kerr's commentary, Charles Barkley is pretty good. Is Charles really going to race Dick Bavetta? "A 67 year old can't outrun me!" I'd pay to watch that. md655321
Lebron's buzzer beater: http://youtube.com/watch?v=8-d8bQU2C9g&...ted&search= Crazy. Pistons smoked the Hornets thanks to Sheeds monster 2 point effort.
Soulstation1
how can you discredit gilbert's mvp bid? the guy was player of the month for december... i'm not saying his gonna win it, but gilbert has been ballin'
Guy Berger
how can you discredit gilbert's mvp bid? ... i'm not saying his gonna win it, but gilbert has been ballin' MVP means making your team better, not just putting up great numbers. Despite a recent hot streak I don't think Washington is much more than a middle-of-the pack eastern conference team. Granted, he isn't an Iverson, but I think the Wizards have to do at least as well as the Cavaliers for Gilbert to be a serious contender. Jim Alfredson
How funny is it that Riley benched Walker and Posey for being out of shape? Let's talk about the chances for a Heat repeat...
Guy Berger
How funny is it that Riley benched Walker and Posey for being out of shape? Let's talk about the chances for a Heat repeat... It's much more likely that they will miss the playoffs. Very impressive win by Dallas in San Antonio. Guy Berger
Go Warriors! Monta Ellis is back which means we have returned to competitive mediocrity. Guy Berger
Debating on LBJ tomorrow or waiting for AI and Melo (when he returns) vs the suns Tough choice, I don't know which I would pick. Denver will probably put up more of a fight against the Suns once Melo comes back. Guy
Noj
Go see LBJ, SS1. He was KILLIN' last night, the kid is on a roll! He's canning three pointers from 2 steps behind the arc.

md655321
At some point this year the pistons have to start trying. Whats the deal with Sheed AND Dyess off the bench?
Chalupa
Matt Barnes continues to blossom into an impact player who might just help keep us afloat with his scoring while JRich is out... Wow... Barnes had 23 in the first half against the Griz... Is that the same Matt Barnes the Kings threw in when they sent CWebb to the Sixers??? Man, Billy King can't do ANYTHING right. Jim Alfredson
'Sheed was late to practice and so he came off the bench against the 76'ers and joked that Saunders should bring him off the bench more regularly. So he did. Stupid game last night.
