doubleM Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I'm going to have to take the Jazz tonight by 3. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 damn he just scored 30 pts vs utah in the 3rd quarter Quote
Noj Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 There have been six 30-point quarters in NBA history. Kobe has two of them. He's got his hops back, and was dunking all over Utah. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 Pistons by 12 tonight. Well, it wasn't by 12, but it was a win. A very ugly one, but a win nonetheless. Quote
Guy Berger Posted December 2, 2006 Author Report Posted December 2, 2006 Pistons by 12 tonight. Well, it wasn't by 12, but it was a win. A very ugly one, but a win nonetheless. 8 in a row for your boys, Jim. They are playing well, though to be fair only one of the wins was over a good team. Dallas has reeled off 12 in a row. Guy Quote
Guy Berger Posted December 3, 2006 Author Report Posted December 3, 2006 AWFUL. Two straight home losses to eastern conference teams. Lottoville here we come! Guy Quote
Soulstation1 Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 i've heard that duncan is really depressed over the tony and eva engagement..... Quote

md655321 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 No, lame is losing to Portland. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 No, lame is losing to Portland. Lame is losing to both Charlotte and Portland in the span of two days. Quote
Big Al Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Avery's coaching like a man possessed, haunted by the final-round collapse from this past spring. Hard to believe the Mavs are the same team that started out 0-4 this season. Looks like it's gonna be an interesting ride again this season. Quote
Guy Berger Posted December 6, 2006 Author Report Posted December 6, 2006 Phoenix is playing very well, but I'm wondering -- will Amare always be a shell of his former self. That would be too bad. Guy Quote
md655321 Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 If Pheonix can keep dropping 161 on opponents, that wont matter. They say it takes about two years to come back. Amare seems ahead of schedule right now. But yeah, it would be nice to see him at 100%, because he can dominate a game like no one has since Shaq. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Nice win for the Pistons tonight. Quote
JSngry Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 And bad loss for the Mavs. No discipline, no focus, flashback to the finals. I still sense a strong sense of not-so-latent pussiness about this team. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 holy shit boston was losing 18-0, came back and won the freakin' game..... watched dwight howard from orlando last night damn the kid has it all AI + Kobe = Total Disaster AI would bring the crips and bloods to the staples Quote
Noj Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 If Kupchak were Zeke Thomas, he'd try to get AI on the Lakers. The Lakers are playing too well to mess with the chemistry. Big win over the Spurs last night. Kwame Brown, Luke Walton, and Jordan Farmar were excellent. Quote
Chalupa Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 The 76ers' locker room at the Wachovia Center was emptier than usual tonight when media members were allowed in before the game, and the customary glimpse toward the far left corner of the room bore that out. Allen Iverson no longer had a locker. Iverson's nameplate above the space had been removed. The hangers were empty. No sneakers could be found anywhere. The only sign that someone once had occupied that locker was a lone white bathrobe hanging up. If you had any question the Allen Iverson era had ended in Philadelphia, this confirmed it. http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/16217444.htm Quote

In the long run you guys are better off. The guy is definitely overrated -- he couldn't get his team into the playoffs even in the eastern conference. Better to start from scratch, and maybe Philly will either get a good replacement or get rid of some bloated contract. There's some talk of the Warriors trading for him -- I hope not! Big Al Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 I still sense a strong sense of not-so-latent pussiness about this team. Last night's loss to the Jazz just about proves that. They've come out lately with what seems to be no sense of purpose. I hope they reverse that trend soon; it'd be a waste of coaching staff and players if they don't. Quote
Noj Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Maybe the Mavs will get Iverson to be the "Answer" to all their problems! Quote
