My only problem is that there are too many different ones. I hope Smith makes it to the other side of his cancer diagnosis. Throat Cancer is a tough one. Quote

jazzbo Posted April 17, 2024 Report Posted April 17, 2024 (edited) Well, it's real sugar, cane sugar, not corn syrup. And it's spicy. This was my father's favorite soft drink. Lucinda and I have a root beer float with vanilla ice cream at least once a week, in honor of my family's tradition--that was our celebratory and New Year's drink--we're not "drinkers." I like their Cream Soda and Black Cherry Soda as well. They used to offer Birch Beer, which is excellent, but they no longer manufacture it. Edited April 17, 2024 by jazzbo Quote
JSngry Posted April 18, 2024 Report Posted April 18, 2024 What kind of "real sugar" would one expect in a root beer if not cane sugar? Am I missing out on something? Please advise. IBC is great, and has been easily available in supermarkets here for decades now. There are "craft" root beers that maybe have better flavor, but they cost a lot and availability is spotty at best. I mean, hell, it's root beer. IBC tips the top for me!!! Quote
