mikeweil Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Blech. Red Bull tastes like warmed over ass, especially the sugar free version. It doesn't work for me, either - I experimented with it during an all-nighter in college, with near-disastrous results. If one sips a cup of Italian espresso coffee along with a glass of apple juice with one third sparkling mineral water, one gets the same effect, well, physically - one gets the same dose of minerals and caffeine. And no synthetic chemical brew ... Quote

(BB) Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 My nephew got hit by a car at a cross walk in front of school (he's ok but the baby sitter has some nasty bumbs) My mother-in-law (who I dearly love) is just back from two days in the hospital for for chest pains, again nothing major at this point. I think it is time for a little 90 proof courtesy of Mr George Dickel. Quote
Kalo Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 (edited) A snifter of Pierre Ferrand Ambre 1er Cru du Cognac. Last night I had a dram or two of Ardbeg 10 Year Old Single Islay Malt Scotch Whisky. The weather's turning cold up here and it's time to break out the spirits... Edited October 7, 2006 by Kalo Quote
