A nice cuppa.

"I like a nice cup of tea in the morning

For to start the day you see

And at half past eleven

Well my idea of heaven

Is a nice cup of tea

I like a nice cup of tea with me dinner

And a nice cup of tea with me tea

And when it's time for bed

There's a lot to be said

For a nice cup of tea."

That song is indelibly imprinted on my mind from the 70s. The power of advertising!

Probably explains why I drink PG Tips too!

It's indelibly printed in my mind from the forties.

It's an early thirties song, though the exact date's unknown.

I didn't know that song, nice lyrics. Vennel tea over here, no picture sorry.

The only tea song I know goes like this (translated)

Cattle with the big belley,

this is my ear and that is my spout,

when the water boils I call out loud:
"Lift me up and pour me out."
(a children's song)

Yeah, how did you guess? No jazz, I know. I will have to write one myself. Jazz & tea go well together you know. Well maybe, although "Blue in green" is already taken.. hm

Well, then it is real clever guess. Your Dutch must be pretty good.

regarding tea, I, shamelessly, forgot about this one ( Jazz on a Summer's day)

My drink has changed to a glass of red wine.
