Durium Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 I enjoyed the Thelonious Monk Quartet ( featuring John Coltrane) live recordings at the Five Spot Café in New York City 11 September 1958. These recordings are previous released by Blue Note (although wrong dated as summer 1957), but are now complete available and in the correct chronological order at Gambit Records. king ubu Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Can anyone actually confirm that the last two tracks belong to this same recording? Why would BN have omitted them if they were on the same tape? Seems they come from the Monk Family/Site... Quote
