This group rehearsed around 1966. There has to be a reel-to-reel somewhere! (Okay, there doesn't have to be, but Giuffre did own recording equipment.) Oh, I'm intrigued now; how long was this iteration together? Quote

Late Posted May 17, 2021 Report Posted May 17, 2021 Anyone here have this Giuffre recording? It looks like a bootleg, but it's actually a release on Francesco Fini's small FINI JAZZ label. I believe it's the only recording where you can hear Giuffre's composition "Princess." Sound is acceptable for a live recording. The woman on the cover is Fini's mother! Nobody knew she was hiding out in the bell of Giuffre's clarinet. Quote
