Chuck Nessa Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Today I'm outside Toledo, Ohio, using the computer in the hotel lobby. Why the heck are you doing that when you could be over at conn's house using his computer? and listening to all of our Concord purchases. Quote

bertrand Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 There is a package waiting for me at home that came today. My workday is done! Bertrand. Quote
bertrand Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Finally got my CDs - everything but Soultrane. I would consider making another order, but my gut instinct is that there will be a second batch so I will wait until then. Bertrand. Quote
billyboy Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Noticed that the Bill Evans box is off the site now.... It's off the sale page, but still on the site if you search for it, still @ 54.95. Worth a shot if you still haven't ordered it. Quote
Eric Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Order no. 5737 received today ... all 22 present and accounted for. According to FedEx, no. 5753 is on the way. Still cannot believe I got that Evans set for $55!!! Quote
GA Russell Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 I placed my order, #5756, very late Friday July 14. My Fedex tracking website says that the shipment is due to arrive August 9. That's a long wait. But at least I know that it is on its way. It left San Leandro August 2 and Sacramento yesterday. Quote
Patrick Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 My order, #5707, placed late July 13, finally arrived. It left Sacramento on July 29, got to the east coast (Hagerstown MD) on Aug 3, and was delivered today (Aug 4). I expect a second order not to arrive until September... Now, what to listen to first... Quote
trane_fanatic Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 (edited) My order of July 15th just shipped. According to the e-mail, they are sending the 24-lb. box to my house. Even though I had specified for it to be shipped to WORK, they are delivering it to my billing address (HOME). My family isn't going to be too happy now. Edited August 5, 2006 by trane_fanatic Quote
trane_fanatic Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 How many cd's make up 24 pounds? About 105, plus the Evans & Trane boxes. It's the first of three orders for me. Quote

I can see why you'd prefer to get your orders shipped to work then... The worst thing is that their policy doesn't allow for any changes by phone after you click the "submit" button. I gotta give them a call Monday and see what the deal is when the confirmation e-mail shows a different shipping address. Hopefully, those other two can be shipped to work, although they are much smaller compared to this garagantuan behemoth. Edited August 5, 2006 by trane_fanatic Quote

Aggie87 Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 1 cd per day * 105 days....i dunno, doesn't sound so bad to me! Quote
Tjazz Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Question? My credit card has not be charged, but I've received the Fed Ex tracking number & email. Estimated arrival date is Monday 8/7. Did your orders get charged on credit card after receipt of your package? Quote
Matthew Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 (edited) Thinking of putting in another order and I noticed that Eric Dolphy's k-2 of at the Five Spot and Outward Bound are gone. Edited August 5, 2006 by Matthew Quote
Ron S Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Just since this morning, the number of jazz CDs in the sale has gone from 218 to 216. Hopefully that means that they really are maintaining real-time inventory information, so that those of us still waiting for orders to be shipped will get everything we ordered. Quote
Big Wheel Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Now down to 214. BTW, the K2 of Dolphy's Far Cry is SO GOOD. I love Booker Little and Jaki Byard, but for some reason had thought that Outward Bound was the essential pick among the New Jazz records. Quote
bertrand Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 This up and down thing is too weird. While I was waiting for my order, Worktime and Curson disappeared and reappeared. I'm not sure what the deal is there. No new titles have appeared, I assume? Bertrand. Quote
Big Wheel Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Looks like one or two of the Coltrane titles keep disappearing and reappearing. I don't remember seeing Soultrane when I ordered last night. Quote
jazzbo Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 (edited) "Soultrane" seems like a matador's red cape! Edited August 6, 2006 by jazzbo Quote
