I've got $100 worth cued up, itching to pull the trigger. Sure wish I could pay for these with PayPal and not use the plastic...

Damn. There goes my "not buying any more CDs for awhile" resolution.

:excited:

Not sure how I'm going to tell Ann.

Save room in the dog house for me.

I (delicately) brought up the subject earlier this afternoon, and she made me a "deal": I could buy 30 as long as I don't buy any more CDs until Jan 1, 2007. :o

(she didn't say anything about vinyl, though... :w) ;)

I'm going to run with "yes, I did buy those 50 cds but I wasn't just thinking about myself....I was thinking about you too hon and got you those 3 Creedence cds that were on sale!'" and then see what happens! :g

Ok.....Just 34 for me and I wish I had pulled the trigger on a couple of more. What a sale!

Geez. 40 + for me as well as the Coltrane and Evans boxes. As good a time as any to really get my collection going. Now I'll need to take about a year off to catch up on listening.

I just ordered 30. Ouch. I called my wife (who balances the household budget) before I hit the "Place order" button and she gave the OK with a caveat: No CDs for 3 months! Double ouch.

You guys are killing me.

Some great CDs winging their way to me though. :)

Later,

Kevin

Man, I almost wish I hadn't seen this thread today...

55 CD's for me...

...in addition to the Coltrane and Evans sets.

I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get so much music I didn't have for such a ridiculous price. All of the discs I bought, aside from the box sets, are Limited Editions or K2's. A few of the K2's are upgrades, but the vast majority of them I've never had in my collection.

I almost didn't pick up the box sets, but I just know that if I hadn't, I would end up regretting it down the road.

Here's the list of what I picked up:

And don't limit yourself just to OJCs. There are some terrific Specialty Records comps of R&B, Blues, and Jump Blues that are to die for!
