You're gonna love it Jim. It's just such a monster CD and the organ also SOUNDS so killer, the Dr. really gets some unbelievable registrations going on some of the cuts. I could go on and on, let's just say it's been great summer listening for me to say the least.

I agree with SOULSTATION, "Ju ngle Soul" has a good evening/late groove.

The good Dr. is still swinging in good company.A cd well worth several spins.

I got this in time for a weekend full of driving. I haven't had a chance to listen too closely, but I'm digging it. I tried listening to it in my van on the way to Detroit with Joe on Friday, but it wasn't clicking. I think it's because the grooves rely so heavily on the interplay between the drums and Lonnie's bass lines and my van is severely lacking in the bass department.

I listened to the whole disc on the way home from a Bay City Root Doctor gig in our lead singer's van which has a much better sound system and I was really digging it! I was most impressed, coming back to the bass and drums, with drummer Allison Miller. She was laying that stuff DOWN!

Good release all around and I think Palmetto has the best recorded Hammond organ sound that I've ever heard. The organ just sounds awesome.

Finally picked this one up and it's damn near perfect (IMHO). Amazing groove, love the 2 guitar format...and Dr. Lonnie still lays it down like no other.
