Chuck Nessa Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 No pressure, just a notice. I'd rather sell them to "folks" than stores or distributors. Thanks for your time. Quote
Alexander Hawkins Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Do not sit on the fence!!! People will not part with these once they have them, so it's get it now or plan the heist Quote
paul secor Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 It would be a good and cool thing if the remaining sets were sold to Board members. Try imagining that these are the last 20 sets of a Mosaic box, and go for it! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted June 8, 2006 Author Report Posted June 8, 2006 How much are we talking about here? How much you got? Quote
Matthew Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 It's money well spent to buy this box -- in fact I'm listening to disk D as I type this (A to Ericka). I tell you, this board is full of karma Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Chuck, can I go ahead and pre-order the last one?? Quote
Quincy Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 I am so glad I bought this when I did Me too. And in the event someone bought one of the last sets and ends up being bewildered and can't come out of it, I'd reckon one could get nearly all of his or her money back offering it here without the eBay mess. Or on eBay if that's your thing, and who knows, maybe even make a profit. But more important than that, if you think there's any chance that this could be your thing, better get on it! Quote
Lazaro Vega Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 The Art Ensemble will never go away! A timeless band. Quote
Dmitry Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 How much are we talking about here? How much you got? I got some loose change I found in my couch the other day. Enough for a popsicle and the AEOC box. Quote
AllenLowe Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 I'll take 19 - and than see you guys on Ebay - Quote
B. Clugston Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 The pressure got to me. I just took the plunge and ordered through Verge. Quote

David Ayers Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Guys - make a move on this set - and order it direct from Chuck so you don't miss out. He promises not to gouge you for shipping! (er... right, Chuck?) Seriously, this kind of quality package is becoming a thing of the past so unless you know you'll hate it NOW is the time. Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Posted June 9, 2006 'bout a dozen left. I am waiting on the morning mail for some orders too. Thanks to those ordering. All proceeds go towards a couple of reissues from my catalog. First on the list is Roscoe's "Nonaah" (pronounced no-nay-ah). This 2 lp set won the "album of the year" award in the DB critic's poll in 1978. It tied with Dexter's "Homecoming". I am "sponsoring" the rebuilding of a 1" 8 track machine to remix the original session masters. Quote
