Jim R Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 WHAT the... I don't think I've ever heard of this Contemporary 10" LP. Listed in the Goldmine guide as THE TWO (I knew about THE THREE, but not THE TWO)... Not out on CD, is it? Quote

Jim R Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 (edited) Well, DUH, Jim! (That "Jim" was aimed at me, not you, BTW). Edited May 27, 2004 by Jim R Quote
brownie Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 THANK you!!!! I've been looking for this cover (and was looking for the LP for awhile) for MANY MOONS. I got a cassette copy of this from another collector (Rene' Thomas, that is, as he's on that album), and for a long time couldn't even find any evidence that this LP even existed. So, this is a big..... um.... thrill..... well, for ME anyway! B) Now, back to that site to look for more lost treasures! I also have this MPS album. The Lucky Thompson and Rene Thomas fan in me could not let this LP pass when it showed up. Beautiful date. Quote
mikeweil Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 That is one of Lucky's rarest albums, very nice! Quote
mikeweil Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Just to straighten my eyes out .... will someone tell this guy how to use his digital camera? Quote
mikeweil Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 (edited) I know you're not the one to blame, Jim! Edited May 31, 2004 by mikeweil Quote
mikeweil Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 From the silliest albums covers thread: ... I think it's a very cool cover idea, attatching these tiny light bulbs to the mallets. B) Quote

Jim R Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Forgive me if I already posted this here (pretty tedious for me to check), but it's a great example and not an easy image to locate... Quote
Jim R Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 And while we're on the subject (I seldom see JAZZ RECITAL, either)... Quote
