Tim McG Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Stag's Leap Petite Syrah is one of the finest Petite Syrahs being made these days. Well worth what they're charging, especially considering the grape's low yield. You should treat yourself to a bottle Goodspeak. You only live once and you don't want to lying on your deathbed wishing you had bought another bottle of great wine. Screw it, just buy a bottle. Good point. Maybe for my birthday. Quote
erwbol Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 I opened a bottle of Penfolds Thomas Hyland Shiraz 2011. Dinner is yet to be served, but I couldn't resist having a glass while cooking. I got it at a 35% discount due to the labels being all red from spilled wine. Usually I just go for the French or Italian wines. Quote
Tim McG Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 In the States, you can get some very nice French Bordeaux for a good, low price. Some real gems out there if you're willing to look. Quote
