(BB)
Still have the mono vinyl which was purchased right after the album was released! Was the "TRUE STEREO" pressing done at a later date?

Was the "TRUE STEREO" pressing done at a later date? Maybe a month later. Bob couldn't afford to press both at the same time.

Swinger
I've heard so many raving comments on this cd. I'm not that much into free blowing (That's why I sold most of my David Ware cds). Is it hard to listen to this album all the way through? ep1str0phy
Bypassing the obvious snarky comments, this is a recording that needs to be heard to be "dealt with". There's really nothing (in the spectrum of jazz) outside of the music of other early AACM members that one can sufficiently relate this music to--and it's certainly not the "free blowing" as you mean above. (i.e., give it a try) Edited January 24, 2007 by ep1str0phy
Guest the mommy
i always pictured the album being sort of like "the flat-out jump suite" but a little more abstract? is this totally wrong?

I'm not that much into free blowing (That's why I sold most of my David Ware cds). Is it hard to listen to this album all the way through? It's a free jazz album. That said, there isn't much "blowing" on this album -- this is much subtler, more thoughtful music (not a value judgment) than David S Ware. Swinger
Ok. I will buy the album soon and give it a try.

Yes - wrong, IMHO! [p.s. Not being sarky - just in a rush now!]
