Big Wheel
As of Thursday, there are now street maps available at Google Maps for a healthy chunk of Europe. Where before street maps only covered the UK, Ireland, and Torino (to commemorate the Olympics) now all of Europe is covered, with the exceptions of the Balkans, Romania and Bulgaria, and the post-Soviet states. Oh, and the Greece map seems a bit, er, rudimentary once you leave Athens, though that could just be my ignorance of Greek geography. But my question is: Where's Claude? Son-of-a-Weizen
Would have been nice to have this when I was driving to Wroclaw at 2 am in the mid-80's. Driving around all of those places in Poland and East Germany, particularly at night, really sucked.

Claude
But my question is: Where's Claude? Hi, Thanks for the tip. When I read the thread title, I thought it was about Google Earth (the satellite maps) and opened the Google Earth browser, but noticed no change for Europe. Many areas are still missing the high resolution photos. The Google Maps are very useful, though I haven't figured out how to search for streets and locations. My street in the eastern part of Luxembourg-City is on the map, but I noticed that some important locations in my surroundings, like the biggest stadium in Luxembourg where all international football matches are being played, are missing.
