Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2006 Author Report Posted May 20, 2006 missed the entire cavs/ pistons game no cable tv at work Quote
Aggie87 Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Spurs are playing like crap in the first half of this game. Plus there have been some real ticky-tack fouls called on Duncan. And there was a foul on Udrih at the end of the half, that was never called. But the Spurs couldn't even get an inbounds pass in time. I don't think they're focused or hungry enough. I hope they prove me wrong in the 2nd Half. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2006 Author Report Posted May 20, 2006 spurs / mavs game tied heading into 4th Quote
Big Al Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Tonight's game showed just how clueless Ball-less's column was. But hell, Spurs played hard tonight and deserved that win. I think the Mavs are starting to run out of gas. Game seven oughta be good, but no way does Dallas win this one. Sorry. Ain't happenin'. Quote
Big Al Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Oh yeah, and I can just see David Stern up in his booth like Mr. Burns going "Ehhxcellent. Skippers, go write another article for me." "Yes, Mr. Stern; just as soon as I get done kissing your ass." Asshole must've wet himself something fierce when the clock reached zero. Quote

HolyStitt Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Much love to the Pistons. If they win the Championship, it just makes Kevin McKale look that much dumber for firing Flip. Quote

BruceW Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Hey watch it SS1 you're drinking a lot of booze, don't let your hatred of the Pistons kill you. But, then again, Bacardi is very very good. Quote

I like the Clips because they are such an underdog and Phoenix has too many chinks in their armor this year. Clips will prevail tonight. Quote

I give the Clips zero chance of winning tonight. You know what reverse jinxes always work? When someone is about to shoot free throws, and the announcer says "he's 8 for 8 from the line". Invariably the guy then misses that shot. Quote
Noj Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 That does work all the time Aggs--Except when the guy had "Hornacek" across the back of his jersey. Then the only question was whether the ball would make the net move as it passed through. Quote
