Have not fouund much info on this cd.Is it a worthy purchase?Or comparable to his late 40's Verve sets?If anyone has this I would appreciate any input on the music on this album .

Very fine '40s stuff with Herman sidemen. I listened to this stuff yesterday. Short for a cd, but you should be able to find it cheap.
