Very early Wednesday morning this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1, the time and date will be 01:02:03, 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again.

Until 2106.

I'll mark my calendar. ;)

actually, it will happen just under a month from then in all countries using a sensible calendar that puts the day before the month.

Yeah, our date format might not make sense, but you guys use commas where decimal points should be, so that makes us even! ;)

won't this happen twice on 04/05/06??

It's just a number sequence I was showing a pre-schooler who is learning about clocks and calendars. Personally, I like the scientific method, for clarity. The date in question would be 2006.04.05, 01:02:03. It wouldn't happen twice that day, as twelve hours later it would be 13:02:03.

The American way is very sensible. Not our fault other places do it the wrong way
