king ubu Posted April 19, 2006 Report Share Posted April 19, 2006 Got my Bailey set - will have to go without food for two months, I guess... haven't played any of it yet, but started reading the booklet and wow... at over 40 pages this must be the fattest booklet among the ones I have (Capitol probably being second). Looks great, and I'm looking forward to hearing the music, too, as soon as I'm in the mood for vocal jazz of this vintage! The Dean Benedetti Book is quite a tome as well. Order placed Thursday, arrived today! That's a quick turnaround, given the Easter weekend AND tax deadline! JJ Set #4885. Dizzy #3774, & PC #2558, if anyone's keeping track of those... Johnson might be running neck-and-neck with the Four Freshmen. Will the J.J. get to #5,000 before its 10th Anniversary? Or, are the trigger-happy boys aiming for the Frosh set?
