BeBop Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Never had any trouble transfering things to an MP3 player before, but the process fails in the three Ballad Medleys. Nothing else. Odd. Any thought? Hints? Condolences? I'm not sure if these tracks play through; I don't have a CD player. Quote
vibes Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Are the track titles really long, and/or do they contain a number of non-letter characters? I've run into problems with tracks like this in the past. Quote

The Ballad Medley song titles list every song that makes up the medley, and includes slashes between the song titles. Looking forward to trying again tonight. Thanks for the reply! Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 The Ballad Medley song titles list every song that makes up the medley, and includes slashes between the song titles. Slashes mess up the file naming routines since in PC lingo, a slash identifies a directory tree. Rename the ballad medley with dashes (-) and you should be fine. BTW, you are much better off using Exact Audio Copy to rip CDs. If you did, you'd know if there were read problems and the audio extraction is much more precise. However, EAC is not an easy program to master so if you are not feeling like learning something new, stick with what you have. Kevin Quote
