I know from personal experience that it's not easy to quit, but you should at least start the process now before it's too late. ps. Yes I know that Dana Reeve never smoked, but I'd be willing to bet that she grew up in a house with someone who did. clifford_thornton Posted March 7, 2006 Report Share Posted March 7, 2006 I had a friend who had lung cancer as a teenager, and was able to pull through. Nobody in his family smoked, and apparently it can develop without airborne carcinogen exposure. I think it is fairly rare in this form. Sad news for the Reeve family, which has suffered so much trauma. The spotlight constantly shown on them was a bit much at times, and it's unfortunate that she was unable to continue her husband's legacy.
