jazzypaul Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 The truly funny part about this is that I'll have something to tell my bass player about tonight. Turns out Yanni did time in Chicago in the 70's and 80's, and my bass player, Bob Ferraris, played with Yanni a ton in those olden days in a cover band with Charlie Adams (also a Chicago native, who would end up being Yanni's drummer). ha ha ha ha ha... Free For All Posted March 9, 2006 Author Report Posted March 9, 2006 And furthermore..........somehow this seems somewhat parallel........... LOS ANGELES (AP) - Less than a month after filing for divorce, the estranged wife of David Hasselhoff has filed for a court order on a claim of domestic violence by the former "Baywatch" star, according to court records. Actress Pamela Bach, 42, made the filing Monday against Hasselhoff, 53, in Los Angeles Superior Court, summary records on the court's Web site show. At a private hearing, Bach also asked for a temporary restraining order against the actor, but a judge denied the request, instead instructing the two to stay away from each other. "The court indicated that she should stay where she is, and he should stay where he is," Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman said by phone Wednesday, declining to comment on the allegations. Documents pertaining to the hearing have been sealed by the court to protect the pair's two teenage daughters and their privacy, Goldsman said. Bach was granted custody of one daughter while Hasselhoff was given custody of the other, publicist Judy Katz said Wednesday. Hasselhoff filed for divorce Jan. 12, citing irreconcilable differences after 16 years of marriage. Bach filed her own divorce papers a day later, also citing irreconcilable differences. Messages left Wednesday at the office of Bach's attorney were not immediately returned. Hasselhoff played lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in "Baywatch" from 1989 to 2000. He also starred in the 1980s TV series "Knight Rider," in which his character, Michael Knight, teamed with a talking Pontiac Trans Am sports car to fight crime. Bach appeared in the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" and in numerous episodes of "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider." Quote

Never has the plot summary of a TV show sounded so ridiculous. Can you imagine the pitch meeting for this show? "So what's this pilot about?" "It's about a man who has a talking car and the two fight crime." "A talking car?" "A Pontiac Trans-Am." "A PONTIAC?!" "Trans-Am." Quote

bertrand Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 'While some casual listeners might recoil at the details of Yanni's personal life, hard core fans understand all too well that this sort of thing is standard fare for the sex, drugs, and scented candles lifestyle of a new age musician. The gallons of Pinot Noir before each gig, the lines of coke snorted off a druid's ass, the underage sex slaves- Yanni doesn't just write filthy lyrics about everlasting love and natural harmony, he lives them.' Priceless! Bertrand. Quote
