ghost of miles Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 For me it's the "Name three people." No idea what it's about, and at this point it's almost a reflex NOT to open it. Everybody in there is probably trading secrets and getting fabulously wealthy, and I'm missin' out... Quote

Stereojack Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Funny Rat-I want to but it is way too long, and there's no point in jumping in at the middle I keep looking at Funny Rat, but still can't figure out what it's about! Name Three People is definitely addictive. Quote

Free For All Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Funny Rat-I want to but it is way too long, and there's no point in jumping in at the middle I'll bet this will be the one mentioned most. Many here probably don't venture there too often, while many others come here to hang there exclusively, kind of like the politics section. I'm an infrequent but occasional visitor. The length of the thread is not a deterrent to me; I'm just not familiar with much that is discussed there. I have discovered some interesting recordings via that thread, though. Quote

I started that damned thread, and I didn't know about the secrets OR the money! Quote

Jim R Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Actually, there may be more ongoing threads that I never look at than ones that I do look at. Quote
ghost of miles Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 Nobody's said "this thread" yet... Guy I've already anticipated this response. But to state such a position would automatically negate it... isn't there a philosophical term for such a conundrum? Quote

Uncle Skid Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I don't think I've ever looked at the "BMG Sale Corner" -- mainly because I'm already a yourmusic.com member, and the last thing I need is another way to spend money on CDs. Ongoing thread I'm most AFRAID to look at: "Running Low / Last Chance" in the Mosaic forum! Quote

connoisseur series500 Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Also the "JOS of the week" or whatever it is called. Is that one of the threads you started, Chuck? Quote
Aggie87 Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I don't read the "what vinyl are you spinning" thread, because it seems redundant to me. And I tend to skip the "Which Mosaic are you enjoying right now" for the same reason. Shouldn't these both be incorporated into the "What are you listening to now" thread? Since I unfortunately don't have the time for getting into the blindfold tests (much as I'd like to), I skip those as well. And finally I tend to skip the emusic threads, as I don't use that service.
