brownie
All discs to non-EU people who enlisted for BFT 34 have been airmailed today. The discs for EU people will be mailed at the end of the week. Hope that all envelopes will be in sometime next week (although I am afraid the airmails to Brazil and Russia might take longer). All have been mailed in individual envelopes except for the one going to John B. That one has discs for Hardbop Jazz and randyhersom. Thanks again to John B. who offered help in forwarding discs. Please let me know when the envelopes hit your homes!

Clunky
received with thanks, all sounds very interesting. Thought I was on a roll when I nailed the first track but didn't do so well after that. It's like a film sound track- nuff said ( for now)

brownie
OK, looks like two wise guys already identified the opening track No big deal! I used this very short tune as a somewhat grandiose opener for the rest of the BFT. Thought it was a smart idea. Fell flat on my face I'll be more impressed when the rest of the tracks are identified And this does not include the two male vocal tracks. These were added as a bonus! I will put a big fat red "refusé" on the enveloppe and bring it back to the post office immediately, then! Nate Dorward
Just got mine. Don't recognize the opening but of course the pianist on (& composer of) track #2 is familiar (though I don't know this version). Thanks for the BFT.

dutchmanx
Novosibirsk, Russia. Disc received, everything is fine. Correction "...was fine" till I played the CD to track 13th, the track and the remaining ones wouldn't play because there is crack in the CD, close to the outer edge. This is the second time when I get cracked CD, seems one bubble-mailer isn't safe enough for long-distance shipping. Maybe a piece of hard cardboard (or two)would help? Anybody can place tracks 13,14,15,16 as wav files somewhere online? If you don't know the place try RapidShare.de,Box.net or Webfile.ru (all three are free) Andrew Edited March 20, 2006 by dutchmanx
