Bright Moments
so here's the dilemma - do i keep the non-RVG versions of the RVG's i just bought? is there any legitimate reason to keep both? is the sound better on any of the old ones? i am a hoarder by nature and my wife likes to cull so marital harmony is at stake here!!! When I got married a little over 20 years ago, I already owned nearly 5,000 LPs. So when CDs came along, my wife said to me, "As far as you're concerned "CD" means "Certain Divorce". Some 2,000+ CDs later, we're still together.
BFrank
No reason to keep both. If you're buying RVGs, it's usually because you expect the remastering to be an improvement. So why keep the "inferior" master?

Chuck Nessa
If the "sound difference" isn't major for you I suggest you decide from a "programming" perspective. Most of the McMasters insert the alt. tracks next to the masters while the RVGs put them at the end. Then dump one and keep the wife.
