Guest Chaney Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 There seems to be a few posters to that forum (ARENA!) that I've never met as they seem to seldom post anywhere else. Jazz? Who needs it! Quote

Actually, maybe the more interesting question is this... Who has the most posts in Politics, as a percentage of their total posts (from among the top 25 posters on the board, meaning from the very most active posters on this board). Anyone care, not only to guess who the top person is (based on the percentage of their posts in "Politics")... ...and maybe even more shocking, what that percentage is???? Quote

Oh, dear...I know mine's high; I'm getting nervous here... Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Hint: The forum I'm most active in is "Miscellaneous Music", with 252 posts to that forum, which is 19% of my total posts on the entire board. Jazzmoose is most active in "Politics", with 673 posts to that forum, which is 52% of his total posts on the entire board. BUT, that's nowhere near the highest "percentage" for some posting to the "Politics" thread... Hmmmmm.... Who could it be, and how high is that percentage???? Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 OMG, I thought the "highest percentage in Politics" winner was gonna be Son-of-a-Weizen, with 542 posts in "Politics', or 70% of his total posts on the entire board... But there's somebody else who's got him beat by a mile. And yikes!! - his percentage is almost not to be believed!!!! Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Without checking (which I am about to do), I would say that as far as high % goes, I would say that Chris, Greg, Johnny, Weizy RonF, and Moose would rank up there. I post most in politics as well, but I post a lot elsewhere as well. Hmmm, have to check my stats.... Quote

Jazzmoose Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 (edited) Wow; I wasn't even close to the highest percentage!! Edited July 22, 2003 by Jazzmoose Quote

MOOSER!! Well, Moose has got the most number of posts in "Politics"... But there's somebody else who's percentage is mindbogglingly high, for number of posts in "Politics", vs. his posts elsewhere. Think about it - it's not very hard to figure out... Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Looks like Johnny. And why not? He shows no interest in any other issue. He comes in at a whopping 95% of his posts. The real surprise is that he was actually drawn into other subject areas for 5% of his posts. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 I want it entered on the record immediately that I have the most posts in the political thread only because I run my mouth too much! Er...I mean... Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 (edited) That's right, Moose. Johnny's got you smoked in both categories. Now give back those party hats! Edited July 22, 2003 by connoisseur series500 Quote
Jazzmoose Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 (edited) He's got me in numbers as well??? Sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed!! Fine; here: Maybe they won't notice one's missing... Edited July 22, 2003 by Jazzmoose Quote
RDK Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 Strange, though, that Weizen and Catesta are tied for most posts about beer... Quote
Johnny E Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 Do I get a prize? Oh shit, I just dropped my percentage down with this post. I better get back over to the politics topic. Quote

Rooster_Ties Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 (edited) Well at least it's smaller (and probably gets better gas mileage) than one of these... ( And notice that this picture was taken of the Hummer in it's natural habitat too!! ) Edited July 23, 2003 by Rooster_Ties Quote

That may be the case...but soon after I return from my '03 Munich beergarden tour, I'll leave Catesta in the dust with a series of lengthy commentaries including: practical travel tips for safely bringing 5-liter mini-kegs back on the plane, best beer hall from which to pilfer a stein (or two), best location to drain fresh monk-brewed beer.....and best location to sucker local wise-ass university students into political conversations and then crush them like bugs. BERIGAN Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 I am at a mere 60%...thank God for the Non-political forum.... Quote
