I like Cirrus a good deal, just listened to it a few weeks ago. None of the Hutcherson 70s recordings have me running for cover, although in the grand scheme of things they aren't as memorable either. But that's not surprising considering Bobby's nearly flawless 60's output...

oh yeah...and I'm one of the people that think San Francisco is a "stone classic"...because it is!

Yeah, isn't that amazing. Those were the mystery years. He was out here in the Bay Area but not much is known about how he spent his time. Maybe he was way into the doogie.

I gotta drive up the street and find out exactly where Mandrakes was and what's there now.

Does anyone know how to post images so they show up larger ?

I think CIRRUS is a fantastic set...I have felt for some time that someone (Blue Note or Mosaic) should put out a "Hutch and Shaw" set including CIRRUS as well as the LIVE AT MONTREUX material with Hutch and Shaw...and hopefully this would include some previously unreleased live material (I have no idea if there is any, just hoping!).
