Big Al
Looks like they're having another 2-day 40% off a single CD sale. Y'know, I waited for years for a Borders to open up close to me (closer than Ft. Worth, anyway). Then when I finally got a Borders, it was at the end of the CD era. I was in the Arlington store last weekend, and it looked like they were in the process of seriously scaling back their CD selection. I just checked the online inventory: they have none of the new RVGs. I'm not surprised. As a result, these sales mean nothing to me anymore. Stefan Wood
Al, is there a coupon floating around with the 40% discount?
Free For All
I was in the Arlington store last weekend, and it looked like they were in the process of seriously scaling back their CD selection. I noticed last week in my Borders store that they had just done a big reorgnization of the CD area and that the jazz section now takes up about half the space it used to. Looks like the beginning of the end.

paul secor
The Borders store near me didn't have a great jazz section to begin with, and the last time I visited - about 10 days ago - half of that was gone. I would imagine that 40% coupons are a way to sell off CD stock. Wish there were something to buy. Big Al
Here it is: Borders 40% Thanks, and sorry about that. The e-mail I got didn't seem to include a link to a coupon, so I thought it was just a store-wide deal.

mgraham333
Not that these coupons are hard to find or anything but I noticed that Borders finally killed off the perpetual 20% coupon that could be found at www.visitborders.com - in fact that entire site is gone.
