Cali Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 (edited) Count me in as one of the ones wanting to hear: Trompeta Toccata Wahoo! Leapin' and Lopin' Flight To Jordan Those would be my choices, also. Oops, also, Horace Parlan's ON THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT. Edited February 24, 2006 by Cali Quote
wulfman Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 How about Movin' and Groovin'? I am listening to the TOCJ now and have no idea why Horace has NO RVG's out. Quote

Maybe 'coz he has a Mosaic still out? And what a great one that is! Duke Jordan's "Flight of Jordan" is a great album, in my opinion! Quote
Parkertown Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Movin' & Groovin' was announced as being part of Classic Records reissues for 2006. It will be mine... God, I love that cover...but this isn't the best scan. I'm hoping for a beautiful purple on the Classic... Quote
Michel_M Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 The Right Touch -- Duke Pearson. Very hard to find and seems to be a good one. Quote
Joe Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 A 2fer of Duke Pearson's 1959 trio sides (PROFILE & TENDER FEELINGS) would be nice. Quote

mikeweil Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 BTW, I don't understand why anyone would want "The Jody Grind" RVG'ed. It's been revealed that "The Jody Grind" master tape is gone and that all CD releases have used an LP master tape (known in internet parlance as a "needle drop"). Kevin What's your source for this?
