The book reveals much about Lacy's approach to music and improvisation, and his philosophy about his art, and the accompanying CDs help to shed more light on his observations and lessons." the_eleven Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 (edited) I am seeking a copy of Steve Lacy "Findings" in good condition. Does anyone have a copy of this second edition that they would like to sell? Steve's music has always been an inspiration, and am hoping that his ideas can stimulate some new directions in my own playing. Edited July 23, 2020 by the_eleven Quote
Pim Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 There’s a copy on Discogs for only 343 euros...what a steal! Quote
clifford_thornton Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 Damn. I didn't know it was so expensive; though I'm not a musician I'd like to read it at some point in life! Quote
romualdo Posted July 24, 2020 Report Posted July 24, 2020 (edited) I almost picked up a copy (book & CDs, 2nd edition) in the '00s. IIRC Cadence (Klompfoot) music used to stock it. It wasn't cheap even then but nothing like the prices being asked for today. Edited July 24, 2020 by romualdo Quote
