51 new "leader" entries have been listed. This makes 225 total.

The new Leader Discographies include names, from the better-known like Kenny Dorham, Hal McKusick, Cecil Payne, and Charles Tolliver to the unknown like Peter Lemer, David Mack, Ramon Morris, and Ollie Shearer. And many young players such as Byars, Eubanks, Frahm, and Willey.

As expected, quite a few corrections to the standard discographies - missing sessions, missing tunes, wrong titles, wrong issues, etc.

Fourteen years have passed since Rooster_Ties said he was only kidding. As of this morning, the question of the lost Atlantic Hasaan Ibn Ali quartet sessions, with Odean Pope, Art Davis, and Kalil Madi, has been resolved in the best possible way. Omnivore has announced that it will be releasing these sessions, recorded on August 23rd and September 7th of 1965. The release date will be March 5, 2021.

Wouldn't take much to bump Hasaan Ibn Ali's entry from the "Leaders" list to a full sessionography ("Artist Discography") entry for him.

Just that one Max Roach session, correct??

That was then. Now — or rather as of March 5th, 2021 — there'll be another. See this morning's announcement by Omnivore Records at
