I was impressed with the Schamber arrangements that Rob Parton recorded on his newest album, TWO DIFFERENT DAYS. I can find his arrangements here and there. However, I can find almost no information about Schamber, the man. He seems to have been--perhaps still is--an academic. Is he stiill living and writing? Apparently some of his arrangements also appear on Pete Petersen's JAZZ JOURNEY album. If you have this album, I'd appreciate knowing which of the selections are arranged by Schamber. Quote
