We played a couple of tracks at our wedding reception in 1988. The song 'Always There' is great for a party.....got a good groove! sidewinder Posted January 28, 2006 Report Share Posted January 28, 2006 My suspicion on the 'new' Tubby Hayes issues is that they may well have the same mastering as previously, some of which ('100% Proof') were from mono LPs I think. The recent UK Universal issues seem to have used the same sources as the previous Japanese issues so this 'new' issue may just be a re-run. Hope I'm wrong.. Gordon is fine, the rhythm section is terrific, but what is impressing me the most is Dizzy Reece's playing; did he ever play better? This album is wholeheartedly recommended!
