jlhoots Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 When's Chloe going to get her gun out?? Quote
Harold_Z Posted April 18, 2006 Author Report Posted April 18, 2006 Never a dull moment. I wonder what happened to Agent Pierce? The Pres's wife just found the cell phone. Quote

Guy Berger Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 By the way, somebody should kick Fox's ass for the teasers they run 5 minutes before each episode. They give away the whole frickin episode!!! Guy Quote
Guy Berger Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Highlight of last night's episode: Quote "I hope you don't mind me bossing you around, i mean technically I don't work for you anymore" Quote
Dave James Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Hard to belive that Mary Lynn Ryjskub cut her teeth on Mad TV and The Gary Shandling show. Apparently she also does stand up comedy. Doesn't seem quite like the Chloe O'Brien I know, but this pic doesn't look too much like that Chloe either. Up over and out. Quote
rachel Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 or how about... Quote .... and I'm also going to need to use your computer, even though it looks kinda pathetic... Quote
kinuta Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 What happened to the first lady's cutie pa? The last we saw of her she was shot up and reunited with her kid, since then not a whisper. Anyone pick up the 'Robocop' old boys club act with Paul Crane( aka Ramano from ER) as the new sinister string puller. He was one of the bad lads in 'Robocop'. He ended up in a vat of toxic waste. Quote
rachel Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 I think they whacked her and her daughter off-screen. There seems to be a new 'string-puller' every week. When I see Paul Crane I also think of "Fame" the movie--back when he had hair... Quote

Kinuta, how are you able to watch the 5th season in Tokyo? I am still watching season three on cable (FOX). Quote

Kinuta, how are you able to watch the 5th season in Tokyo? I am still watching season three on cable (FOX). I download it from the internet. It usually comes on line early Tuesday afternoon. If you have a high speed fiber optic connection such as NTT Flets it's pretty easy to get '24' and all the other current shows. Drop me a line if you need chapter & verse. Quote
rachel Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Chloe Tasering the guy in the hotel bar, not once but twice, without missing a beat of keyboarding... Outstanding. Quote
Harold_Z Posted May 2, 2006 Author Report Posted May 2, 2006 Great. Remember last season when she grabbed a submachine gun and dispatched a few bad guys? Revenge of the computer nerds. Quote
Guy Berger Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 The twist at the end of last night's episode was lame. Guy Quote

Guy Berger Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 If I was writing the show, I would have had Logan go through with the suicide attempt only to discover that the gun wasn't loaded. Or maybe fire the only bullet but miss. Perfect. Guy Quote

rachel Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Guy said: Or maybe fire the only bullet but miss. Perfect. Guy Truly... as if to say that the buffoon can't even get that right... I agree with everyone else---lame, lame ending. I found the whole conversation with the President and blue-toothed-bald-headed-who-played-Romano-on-ER guy (when they were discussing the need for the President to eat the bullet) rather silly. My thought was, "I can't believe they're actually saying this dialogue..." But I'll be glued to the set next week, no doubt! Quote
Harold_Z Posted May 23, 2006 Author Report Posted May 23, 2006 I'd like to get you.... ....on a slow boat to China Quote

Dave James Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I liked last night's episode. A slick twist to get Logan's confession. That smirk on Mrs. Logan's face when the secret service was rounding up the Prez was worth the price of admission. I'll miss Logan, though. I think in the five years that 24 has been on the air, he was the guy who was the most fun to hate. A sponge-worthy performance from Gregory Itzen. One small quibble. That ruse to get Jack to the phone at the end of the show was lame. How would Kim know where he was and how could she have called him on a land line even if she did? Jack should have known that, but I guess he was under the spell of spending the afternoon in flagrante with Audrey. Not an unpleasant prospect by any means and one that could, indeed, addle one's mind. Did anyone notice the name of the ship that was spiriting Jack away to China? The Shanghai. My dictionary defines "Shanghai" thusly: "to kidnap (a man) for compulsory service aboard a ship, esp. after rendering him insensible." How appropriate. Up over and out. Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 poor jack. he was makin out w/ audrey and then he thinks kims on the phone but now hes on a boat to ching-ching-chewy-chewy-ching-chong-town Quote

The ruse to get Jack on the phone worked. I'm pretty sure the agent said that Kim had called and that they had transferred her call to a landline in the warehouse. Kim could have called CTU, who then would have transferred her call to the appropriate location. With all that technology, anything's possible. "Shanghai" was the home port of the ship. The name of the ship was in Chinese: Guang Cai (bright colorful, if read left to right). Quote
RDK Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I love how Jack now has those Chinese bastards right where he wants them! Quote
