bertrand Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Or sideperson? I have her 5 albums as a leader on Concord, plus the one with Coryell. I am avoiding This Is Me (David Benoit, I don't think so), so what's left? It seems she didn't do too many sideman gigs. I think she was with Astrud Gilberto for a while. Is this documented? Anything else? Thanks, Bertrand. Quote
kh1958 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 This is Me has several worthy tracks on it, so avoiding it is a mistake. Or sideperson? Ken Dryden Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Add the following: Clayton Brothers: It's All in the Family (Concord LP, her recording debut) Ray Brown: Soular Energy (appears on one track) Deuce: Deuce (a female band, probably fusion...) John Colianni: John Colianni (Concord) Chris Hunter: This is Chris (Paddlewheel) David Benoit: Waiting For Spring (GRP) a real disappointment, as Benoit doesn't make use of her solo talent much at all Emiko Kai: Some Other World I also have several broadcasts of Emily Remler available to exchange with others who trade broadcasts (non-commercial material only please, as I do not dub commercial releases). Please PM me if interested. Quote
Brownian Motion Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Emily played solo guitar on one cut (We Three Kings) of Christmas Guitars, a CD issued to benefit the National Coalition for the Homeless. Quote
kh1958 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Richie Cole with Hank Crawford Quintet - Bossa International Susannah McCorkle - No More Blues and Sabia Rosemary Clooney - Out of This World The Cole/Crawford features some very fine live Emily Remler--a nice record. It appears to be going out of print, with some inexpensive copies still available. http://www.amazon.com/Bossa-International-...3456&sr=1-1 Quote
thomastreichler Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Emily Remler is also on six songs of Rosemary Clooney Sings The Music Of Jimmy Van Heusen (Concord) Quote
Beetle Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 You're lucky. I've been looking for "It's All In The Family" for years. Quote
