Jim Alfredson Posted January 12, 2006 Author Report Posted January 12, 2006 We're still working on it. We'd love to get to DC soon. I'm looking forward to Chi-town tomorrow, though! Hope to see some board members there! Quote
Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 We're still working on it. We'd love to get to DC soon. I'm looking forward to Chi-town tomorrow, though! Hope to see some board members there! I am looking forward to seeing "my boys" playing in Chicago as well. The in-laws will be taking Zora for the night so momma is free to go! Might I add that the only way this is possible is because the Green Mill has a house organ! I can actually ride along with Jim and Joe. I hope to meet more of the Board out there. Baker's was a good start...and of course the February trip Jim and I took to NYC. Alison Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Sounds fun, Alison. Wish I could go too, but I'll be at Baker's next week. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 We had a blast! Great room, great folks, very professional staff, and the house organ was very very nice! Jazzypaul was in the house, so hopefully he'll check in... it was a treat to meet the man in person. I hope we can do it again soon. I think we went over well. Quote
Larry Kart Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Sorry I couldn't make it. Unavoidable family stuff, but I was there in spirit. Quote
jazzypaul Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 I was there. It was a blast. Organissimo sounded like they were MADE for that room. Hopefully they'll bring you back. I'm just sorry I couldn't stay longer. Y'all should be VERY proud of yourselves. Quote
